Call for Papers

McCloskey is launching its inaugural Steel & Ferroalloys Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, spotlighting the continent’s vital role in supplying essential raw materials to the world’s steelmakers. From manganese and chromium to vanadium and anthracite, Africa’s importance in the steel supply chain cannot be underestimated. As part of our agenda development process, we are offering a limited number of speaking slots at the conference.

If interested, please submit a presentation proposal focusing on any aspect of the Steel & Ferroalloys markets in Africa and/or globally. The deadline for proposals is Friday, 1 September 2024.

Presentation proposals can be on any aspect that you as a market participant feel important enough to cover including, but not limited to the following:

Significant developments or issues in your part of the industry.
Case studies on any project your organization has done to improve or diversify your business.
The challenges or wins to secure financing to expand.
Medium to long term evaluations of industry growth or transformation that may be related to evolving market dynamics

Appointed speakers will receive complimentary access to the conference sessions, exhibition, networking breaks, lunches and receptions, as well as one-night complimentary accommodation in the conference hotel.
