Director, North America – NGLs, Feedstocks, LNG
All sessions will commence at 10:30am CST and run for approximately one hour. Recordings of each presentation will be available for delegates who are unable to attend a live session.
Day One – Tuesday April 6, 2021
With the recent addition of China, Japan and South Korea, the list of countries committing to zero carbon emissions by 2040-60 continues to grow. Although LPG improves lives by reducing indoor air pollution resulting from burning charcoal, kerosene or biomass, today nearly all commercial LPG is produced as a fossil fuel, and therefore will be a target for elimination by decarbonizing countries. LPG industry groups have proposed using bioLPG as their solution. This presentation explores the market outlook for bio/renewable LPG and its implications for the global LPG industry.
Day Two – Wednesday April 7, 2021
OPIS by IHS Markit is the official natural gas liquids benchmark for North America. On a daily basis we assess the physical spot market for the global pricing hub of Mont Belvieu, Texas, the integral Midwest market of Conway, Kansas, the rapidly growing physical market of Canada and beyond. As the benchmark, every gallon of propane, butane, ethane and natural gasoline in North America is tied to OPIS pricing. Both international and domestic market participants will find that this presentation provides an overview of our daily assessments as well as the full day methodology we at OPIS by IHS Markit employ.
Day Three – Thursday April 8, 2021
