Call for Papers

In its 19th year, the Southern African Coal Conference brings together hundreds of top government officials, CEOs and industry experts to discuss and debate the main issues affecting the Southern African coal industry. As part of our agenda development process, we are offering a limited number of speaking slots at the conference. 

If interested, please submit a presentation proposal focusing on any aspect of the Southern African domestic and/or international coal markets. The deadline for proposals is Wednesday, 1 October 2023.

Presentation proposals can be on any aspect that you as a market participant feel important enough to cover including, but not limited to the following:

• Significant developments or issues in your part of the industry.
• Case studies on any project your organization has done to improve or diversify your business.
• The challenges or wins to secure financing to expand.

Appointed speakers will receive complimentary access to the conference sessions, exhibition, networking breaks, lunches and receptions, as well as one-night complimentary accommodation in the conference hotel.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your industry and market knowledge as well as your company’s experience and expertise.

To apply as a speaker, submit the form with your presentation title and a brief description outlining the focus and content of your presentation. An event producer will be in touch shortly after submission.
