Registration Fees – BEE Delegates

The BEE rate is only available to members of the Black Economic Empowerment program. To register as a BEE you must send us a copy (PDF) of your current and correctly dated BEE certificate stating your company name and details. Please email this to coal.events@opisnet.com along with a copy of your invoice so we can complete your registration.

Discounts cannot be combined including any early bird rates and are only applicable to new registrations. All discounts must be applied at the time a delegate signs up for the event and no refunds will be issued post registration.

All fees are in US Dollars. Please Note: 15% VAT is payable by all customers and is automatically applied to invoice.

Attendance includes all event materials, admission to the general sessions and networking functions and all breaks, lunches and receptions. It does not include any travel to the venue or costs for rooming at the host hotel or any other property.

The cut-off date for room reservations at the preferred rate for delegates at the 18th Annual Southern African Coal Conference expired 15 January 2023 and all rooms within that block are sold out.

Rooms at the host venue are still available at the current prevailing rate and a booking link will be included in your conference registration confirmation email. Prevailing rates as of 17 January 2023 start at 4,100R and up.

All rooms must be secured with a credit card at the time of booking and once booked with the hotel, any reservations cancelled will be responsible for the full amount of the booking as will any/all no-shows per the Westin Cape Town’s cancellation policies.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment

Payment for the event is due and payable prior to the start of the event. If you have requested to be invoiced, please ensure that your payment is received prior to 31 January 2023.

Substitutions/Cancellations

Once registered, attendees are responsible for the payment of all fees and no refunds will be issued. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send a substitute at any time, provided that written notice is received by OPIS within 48 hours of the event start date via email to coal.events@opisnet.com. If you are unable to send a substitute, OPIS will provide a credit in the amount of your paid registration fee to be used against a future OPIS event within the next 12 months (from 3 February 2023). Substitutions or credit against a future conference are only if you are unable to attend/participate. Photographic Consent

Attendance at an OPIS meeting or other activity constitutes an agreement by the registrant for OPIS to use and distribute the attendee’s image or voice in photos or videos of such meeting or activity.
