(OPIS BA) is authorized by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (Autoriteit Financiële Markten, AFM) pursuant to Article 34(1)(a) of the EU Benchmark Regulation (2016/1011). OPIS BA currently administers the Northwest Europe Steam Coal marker and the Richards Bay FOB marker which are components of the API2 and API4 indices respectively. These price assessments are currently not used as a reference for trading on an EU exchange and consequently are not benchmarks within the meaning of the EU Benchmarks Regulation. OPIS Benchmarks Administration B.V. does not currently administer any price assessments that qualify as benchmarks under the EU Benchmarks Regulation.

The benchmark administration activities of OPIS BA are conducted in line with the IOSCO Principles for Oil Price Reporting and the EU Benchmark Regulation.
