Fred RozellPresident Started with OPIS in 1997 Over the past 20 years, Fred has developed the OPIS retail fuels database into the most timely, complete and accurate source of gasoline and diesel pricing available in the market. He has won multiple industry awards for editorial excellence and product development. In addition, Fred manages strategic relationships with some of the most high-profile and largest consumer companies worldwide, including Apple, Google and Toyota. He is credited with creating a benchmark margin index for retailers that helps measure profit performance against an industry standard. Fred is a graduate of Monmouth University where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration.
Linda HerbertChief Operating Officer Started with OPIS in 1994 Linda oversees all of OPIS’s day-to-day operations including pricing, customer service for electronic products, newsletters and conferences, billing and technical support. In addition, she acts as a liaison between OPIS’s IT groups and business heads to ensure the success of new launches, product enhancements and changes to meet customer needs. Linda started with OPIS as a customer service representative and has held various positions before being named COO.
Tom KlozaGlobal Head of Energy Analysis Started with OPIS in 1980 Tom has covered downstream oil markets for over 40 years. A magna cum laude graduate of St. Francis University, Tom has a degree in English and has analyzed crude oil, refined products, and gas liquids for parts of four decades. He has also written commentary for Marketwatch and is a regular guest commentator for Bloomberg Financial Markets and NPR Marketplace. He provides unbiased and expert commentary for print and electronic media during times of oil volatility, and is regularly quoted in virtually every U.S. and international periodical.
Michael SinskyChief Information Officer Started with OPIS in 1994 Michael provides strategic oversight for the use of information technology resources in support of the mission and goals of OPIS. As CIO, Michael ensures the structural alignment of technical product development efforts, engages in strategic IT investment planning, oversees IT and Data Governance, and manages the setting of IT priorities for the company. He has more than 22 years of experience leading technology development, operations, and initiatives across large-scale, complex organizations. Prior to serving as OPIS’s CIO, Michael led the Corporate IT Development and Project Management group for UCG, OPIS’s former parent company. Michael has a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Steve TanVice President, Strategic Content Started with OPIS in 2018. Steve has close to 25 years of price reporting experience in the energy and petrochemical sectors. Prior to joining OPIS, Steve was Editorial Director for ICIS editorial operations in Asia and led the global Market Engagement team on business development. At OPIS, Steve focuses on championing OPIS spot content as trusted enablers of market development – through the timely provision of globally recognized benchmarks, market analysis/insights and breaking news. Steve holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate business degree from Deakin University, Australia.
Rich LisauskasPresident of Axxis Software Started with OPIS in 2001 Rich brings more than 20 years of industry and technology experience including a unique blend of enterprise software, business management, sales and operations expertise. His focus is on helping downstream petroleum companies maximize their use of software and technology when managing fuel supply, distribution and logistics. Before joining OPIS, Rich was Vice President of Business Development for the Cedar Group, a UK-based publicly traded enterprise software and solutions provider. Rich’s prior experience included eight years as an accountant and consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick and Price Waterhouse (PWC). Rich is a CPA and a member of the AICPA. He is also a member of the AICPA Technology Committee. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from Bentley College.
Lindsey BernardExecutive Director of Sales Started with IHS Markit in 2009. Since graduating with her Master’s degree from Columbia University, Lindsey has spent 20 years in sales in the business intelligence industry and has been with IHS Markit since 2009. In that time, she has worked across a number of sectors, from country analysis, to upstream, to agribusiness. For five years she ran EMEA Sales for Oil Markets, Midstream, Downstream and Chemicals from London, overseeing sales growth in markets as diverse as Spain and Qatar and for the past two years she has been managing the integration of a newly-acquired agribusiness company. Over the past decade she has worked with clients across the energy, financial, manufacturing and professional services sectors. In 2020, after nine years living in the UK, she returned to the US to take over Global Sales for OPIS by IHS Markit. Lindsey is currently based out of Houston, Texas.
